As a privately owned business founded in 1924, Brit European is an international specialist logistics provider across a diverse range of market segments that has continually re-invented itself since pioneering through route cross-channel distribution. Based at Radway Green, in Crewe, Brit European has a presence at locations all over the UK including Rocester, Derby, Stoke, Purfleet, Southampton, Portbury, Killingham, Immingham, Ellesmere Port and Ecclefechan.
With a broad ‘blue chip’ customer base and a total vehicle fleet of around 150 trucks at any one time Brit European has a constant need to flex its driver needs, and therefore having a reliable and stable agency partner is a big part of that flexibility.
Responsible for the safe and on-time transportation of finished vehicles (including cars, vans, chassis cabs and trucks, as well as agricultural and plant equipment), trade-plate deliveries, bulk liquid movements (such as base oils, chemicals and fuels) and general freight, the underlying philosophy of Brit European is to work closely with their customers to find creative and innovative solutions for today and for the future.

One of Brit European longest client relationships is with JCB, one of the world’s top three manufacturers of construction equipment. Employing around 12,000 people on four continents and selling products in 150 countries through 2,000 dealer depot locations – JCB is a true heavyweight in the industry and produces a range of over 300 machines.
Silver Arrow provides a number of drivers to Brit European that have been trained specifically in the safe loading, transportation, and unloading of the JCB product range. These drivers assist and supplement the full-time Brit European drivers employed to service JCB.
